We recognize the strengths of each individual and empower children and families to find success. We are committed to ongoing training for our therapists to ensure that our staff offers the latest advances in rehabilitation. We strive to help each child reach their fullest potential by partnering with the family though fun therapeutic and stimulating activities. Through the use of play as well as specific exercises designed for the child, the physical therapist works to improve strength, endurance, range of motion and posture. Physical therapy promotes successful acquisition of motor skills. With increased motor skill independence and self esteem is promoted. Using a variety of therapeutic activities, children may learn to write their name, dress themselves, or modulate their body in order to successfully complete daily tasks. The occupational therapist partners closely with parents and teachers, as well as the child, to achieve meaningful progress in school tasks & family activities.
